Julia Seavill is primarily a fine art photographer from Bristol.

 

Seavill’s work is highly experimental making use of still life in studio practice. Early 2016, she produced a book entitled “Glut” and this work is a continuation on from a series she created in her second year.

 

Julia’s photographic practice primarily focuses on the relationship between food and the consumer. Taking stances on over and under consumption within our modern society, she concentrates on the use of fad diets.

 

This current series of work highlights over consumption and how society dictates how we should look and live. All her work has a strong emphasis on colour and this is something she is planning on exploring through all of her artistic practice.
