Anna is a photographer who attempts to shed light on social and political topics that would otherwise be left unseen. With her slowed down and carefully considered approach to her practice, she is particularly interested in the emotional triangulation between sitter, viewer and photographer, which allows all three to be part of the process.

 

Anna is convinced that photography is an influential art form, evoking thoughts and opening up conversations. It is a powerful way of making others seen and encouraging the world to take notice of what might otherwise be overlooked.

Her curiosity and care for the people she encounters are informed by her open and inclusive Christian faith.
